No more excuses…

Christmas Day, 2012

Oh dear friends, it’s been too long.

I haven’t forgotten about you, really. I meant to write, but then… well… life with a toddler is so busy… and before you know it time gets away from you…. Blah blah blah….. Excuses! Excuses! Excuses!

Let me, as my mother would say, “lay my cards on the table” here: I haven’t written a post in almost 3 months time. You just haven’t been enough of a priority to me these past few months. Perhaps I was just soaking in every moment of our 7 week trip back to the US, or perhaps I just needed a break, whatever the reason, I haven’t been here. And, I’ll admit it- even when I was here this past year, I wasn’t really regularly here like I used to be. I’ve let you go, blog. There, I said it.

The thing is-  I’ve missed you. I’ve thought about this blog and missed you more than I’d like to admit.

I love writing this little blog. I love writing up random stories about our adventures and posting them for the blogging world. And I realize that very few people actually read this little piece of web space. But, some do and, truth be told, it gets me so giddy whenever I find out a family member has been reading or I get a comment from someone I’ve never met. Excited enough to give me the energy to continue writing.

So, I’m going to stop making excuses now and stop putting words into action. One of my 2013 GOALs for the year is to resume blogging again on a regular basis. I haven’t decided all the details of that yet, but it will come.

Oh blog world, I’m so excited! I have so many things to share with you this year and am looking forward to doing so. I’m back!

Stay tuned.

Yeah! I have always looked forward to and enjoyed your unique perspective on your experiences. No pressure, but be assured that I will be reading whatever you write.

So glad you’re back! I had given up on checking the site and happened to come today and went back through the entries I’ve missed. I LOVE posts like the one about the diapers since I am particularly interested in cultural differences for any countries–especially the ones that you wouldn’t otherwise hear about. Keep writing and yay!
